Dutch is the official language in the Antilles.
However, local people speak Papiamentu, a mixture of Spanish, Portugese, Dutch and African languages. But almost everybody speaks English!

Some basic words in Papiamentu:
Bon bini = welcome
Bon dia = good morning
Bon tardi = good afternoon
Bon nochi = good evening
Ayo = see you later
Masha danki = thank you
Kon ta bai? = how are you
